Briefly, this process involves determining how many implants are needed to place the denture. Then the implants are placed in your jaw.
This is a day surgery (usually) and is performed under a local anaesthetic. It takes, on average, 3 months for your jaw to heal around the implants. The next step is then the construction of your implant-retained denture.
